The client

Greycoat Lumleys is one of the UK’s leading property and household staffing specialists, providing estate agency, lettings, property management and recruitment services across London and the South East.

Following the launch of a new website, Greycoat Lumleys identified an opportunity to reintroduce online invoice payments. Delivering this functionality required specialist e-commerce and payment integration expertise, particularly around secure transaction processing and integration with their existing Global Payments gateway. PilotBean was engaged to design and implement a seamless, secure solution for customers.

The challenge

Although Greycoat Lumleys had recently launched a new website, clients were no longer able to pay invoices online — functionality that had previously been available on their old website.

The business required a secure, easy-to-use payment solution that would integrate with their existing Global Payments gateway while providing a smooth experience for customers making online payments.

The solution

PilotBean designed and developed a secure online payment form that allows customers to pay invoices quickly and safely through the Global Payments payment gateway.

The solution captures invoice details, customer information and payment information before securely processing the transaction and directing users to a confirmation page once payment has been completed.

Secure payment processing

To maximise security, the payment system was designed to operate over SSL using a dedicated payment subdomain, giving customers confidence that their payment details were being processed through a secure connection.

The integration with Global Payments allowed Greycoat Lumleys to continue using their existing payment provider without requiring changes to their financial processes.

Seamless website integration

The solution was designed to integrate with the existing website while maintaining a consistent user experience.

Optional enhancements included embedding the payment form directly within the Greycoat Lumleys website and providing personalised payment links that could automatically populate customer details and invoice references, reducing the effort required for clients to complete payments.

The outcome

PilotBean restored an important piece of customer functionality by delivering a secure, user-friendly online payment solution that integrated with Greycoat Lumleys’ existing systems.
